Armadillo / Zero Waste

Zero Waste has been a long trend in European fashion, aiming towards more eco-friendly designs.

In 2014, I challenged myself to create real outfits that require zero waste of material, requiring an additional stage of planning and calculation during the design process.

These designs were named Armadillo, taking inspiration from the animal's tough, layered armor.

The pictures below show the design process as well as the final photoshoot with a student model, with whom we practiced professional editorial shots.
